Decoupaged Plate Collage
This is my decoupage foam plate. Things you need: foam plate, glue stick, mod podge, a foam brush, newspapers, and magazines. Go through and cut out pictures you want and glue them down. Then you just mod podge over it let it dry and put a few more layers on.
We made this at our co-op so the kids had pictures of fish, trucks, bikes, animals, and all sorts of other things.

Name Monster
This is my name monster! His name is Jeremy, he has boxing gloves on his hands, an ear warmers on his ears, and a tie with hearts on it. His nose it crooked and blue because he broke it. He is very proud of his teeth which is why he is smiling so big.
To make the name monster you fold a piece of paper the long way and then write your name all the way across the paper. If you have a short name, you might have to put you middle and last initial. Then cut around your name but, do not cut the folded edge. Open up the paper and decide which end is the top and start coloring!

Identity Picture
This is an identity picture. I drew this for an art class that a help teach at a little kid co-op. You start by folding the paper into 16 squares then you put your name all scrambled around and start filling in the other squares with things you like. Some of mine are goats, 4-H, Justin Bieber, ultimate frisbee, and reading.
Some of the things the kids chose were favorite kind of ice cream, light sabers, dirt bikes, not the color pink, and fishing.
How To Float A Cow With Balloons
This is a picture I drew for a class I help with at a little kid co-op. This picture shows combining primary colors. First you draw an animal, they were studying animals of Minnesota so I choose a cow, or what ever you want, a bus, a house a monster, a shark etc. The three balloons are the primary colors, red, yellow and blue. Where they overlap each other is where the color blending comes in . The yellow and red make orange, the red and blue make purple and the blue and yellow would make green.
The kids liked it and they had a lot of fun drawing the animals. Most of them choose pigs oddly enough. There are all boys in the class so their drawing were let's just say...interesting.

Altered Notepads!!!
For the Altered notepad you need: A notepad, paper, glue, paper cutter or scissors, and decorations.
Step one: Cut the paper to the size of your notepad
Step two: Put on stickers or whatever you have to decorate your notepad with.
Step three: Glue the paper to both or one side of the notepad.
Now you have a beautiful notepad to write all your important info in. Enjoy!

Take Me Home
The new One Direction CD, Take Me Home, came out on Tuesday!!! I chose to buy the one that has the extra songs on it and only the phone booth is colored. The red phone booth does add emphasis but, I wish they had left it all colored because the boys are black and white. It is a really good CD, all of the songs are "amazayn". I can't decide on a favorite.
There are 18 songs on the CD. Two of these are songs from the previous CD. They range from being sweet and tender like Little Things to wild and hyper like Live While Were Young. I am really happy that Niall and Louis have more solos on this CD. I also like that they helped write more of the songs.
They have a good balance of slow songs to fast songs and did a really good job of spreading them through out the CD. I think the best fast songs are Heart Attack, Rock Me, and I Would because they have really nice beats and are fun to sing along to. The best slow songs are Last First Kiss, Little Things, Summer Love, They Don't Know About Us, and Irresistible because they are really sweet and appeal to the female audience.
I would recommend this album to everyone.

Clyde the dragon!
This weekend I was looking up crocheted animals on pinterest and I found this cute little dragon! He is so cute! I named him Clyde and he is just a baby dragon so he does not breath fire. Clyde also has a little brother who is blue and very cute. He has not been named yet. I think am going to make lots more of these little guys!
This pattern was pretty easy. The things that were the hardest was the starting of the head and connecting the feet, otherwise it was splendid. You can find the pattern here. I added some of my own touches to him. I used a bigger hook for Clyde so he is bigger, I also used polar fleece instead of felt. So for his ears I had to put two pieces of fleece together with two tooth picks in between so they will stand up and I also made them more of a triangle. I put his tummy on upside down and smaller from the one in the pattern. His horns are not a cone shape like the originals. They also used embroidery floss I just used yarn for his mouth and fang and the lines on his tummy are not floss ether. The arms I put half way down the body instead of right by the head.
When you put the tail on you should put it a little higher up then mine is because he will stand but not that well and falls easily.
